Kickstart Kids - Summer 2025

This summer all soccer will be held indoors at Storm Sports Academy in West Hempstead. We will hold both hourly classes for the youngest players as well as a 3-hour drop-off streetbol camp for older players. Detailed information will be posted soon, and registration will open in March.

Location: Storm Sports Academy, 7 Terminal Rd, West Hempstead, NY 11552

Storm is air-conditioned, so we will not need to cancel classes on account of heat or rain. We will run two programs: Streetbol Camp and Kickstart Kids.

Streetbol Camp

We will teach and play streetbol. There will be "light" coaching with a focus on "learning-through-play". Children will also have free time to play or relax as they choose.

  • Age: 2018 and older

  • Days & Time: 9:00-12:00 every weekday for 5 consecutive days

Kickstart Kids Classes

These are 1-hour classes for children born between 2019-2023. The children will engage in various soccer-like activities, and older children may begin playing streetbol.

Children 6-7 years of age may be dropped off, while younger children must have a guardian present.

  • Age: 2017-2022 (Boys and Girls)

  • Days & Time: 9-10am, 10-11am. Classes meet every weekday for 5 consecutive days.

  • Cost: TBD

Inform us of your interest prior to registering

Before we can open registration for any specific week, we must determine the interest of families in that week. Do please review the dates below and let us know which weeks you are interested in attending by emailing us at info@artisansocialfc.com.

  • Camp and classes are being offered in Mon-Fri blocks for the following weeks:

  • In your email please indicate your child’s name, DOB, next year’s school grade, and the week(s) and time(s) that you are interested in.

  • As soon as we have enough interest in a specific week, we will open formal registration and you can join that class or streetbol camp. You will be notified when registration opens for the weeks you are considering.

  • We will open registration and contact you when any week becomes viable.

  • Please note that we will not hold soccer during those weeks in which there is not sufficient interest.
